To repair that error, delete your language .pack (nexon\mabinogi\package) then let it repatch.

for me, the language filter isnt working. everything else is tho...

it only works in private chat and guild chat, but if its not working try removing mods and data pack again.

Is the shorter tabs been deleted? The update for the butler and maid made them disappear, when I had them before the update. I'm guessing they updated the interface while they were working on them.

Yes, but it still doesn't work, I believe it's cause I'm using a different interface but it worked fine before that update like I said.

The shorter inventory tabs are part of interface.english.txt, which is located in two places:
\data\code
\data\local\code

These lines of code should be in there:

pli_windowhinventory.16 VIP
You'll want to look for those three lines in your copies of the files and update them, or just get a new copy of the file from the Tiara installer.

Hey, I have a question;
Read the first post and picked a few random pages if I could see my answer, but I couldn't.
Also, because there have been questions that have been frequently answered (consider a FAQ?), I figure I might as well ask:

How do I fix the boxes(localization error?)? I think I read somewhere that I delete itemdb.xml? Or wait for an update.
Edit:
Tried deleting/removing mods and reinstalling, but some text still shows up as boxes.
One of them is the chat on/off for the partner.

I have thought about a FAQ before but considering how many questions are repeatedly asked it would take me too much time, effort and would need to be in a spoiler which is commonly over looked plus the fact that most of the important questions that are in the first post are still constantly asked so i don't think it would do any good.

uo tiara doe not mod itemdb.xml but it does mod itemdb.english.txt which is where the translations for items are and it is completely up to date.

the problem your having is with nexon not yet translating it or maybe they reverted back to it being untranslated so if you have indeed removed mods with data packer and deleted the data folder like it says in the first post then updated the mods properly; its not mod related and i would suggest trying to use the search bar rather then picking random pages.

to confirm that; have you tried removing mods then logging on? does the area still have boxes? if yes then its nexon's problem which uo tiara gets blamed for quite often.

As for the search, I do use it, but finding keywords to use it quite hard. I also found the posts that I read with someone having a similar problem.

They show up fine for my friends that don't use mods, however.
Would something like a right-click option be included in the interface? Even if it was though, doesn't help that some items are like that.

Edit: Could Frontend be causing the issue? I use it because I like the graphic mods, then 'overwrite it' (reinstall) with UOTiara, due to it having some features I like.
If it is, I think I'll try re-installing Mabinogi and putting everything in data\xml\ and local\xml\ into the exceptions list, then use it.

I reinstalled Mabinogi and used Frontend/UoTiara. The chat on/off appears normal, but some items still have box descriptions.
These are the ones I put in Frontend's ignore list, so it's not one of these.

I was having problems with the recent update, (some things weren't working)

But when I uninstalled and re-installed Tiara, everything went back to normal.

i still may be releasing 113 later today but update wise it isn't needed.

To check for yourself, get a data unpacker, open up the pack file, and see what's new there. it's really as simple as that.

wither it has to do with frontend or nexon untranslated or you not removing mods, updating, and then modifying again is anyone's guess, but i also don't know which one of the files that 'chat on' is located as of yet but i do know that uo tiara's txt files are more translated now then nexon r113 since they did some sort of undating.
