Gah, I cant seem to get this working. I downloaded the mods and for the right system but hackshield keeps detecting it. How do I get around this?

What error? Memory modification? Open the ini and lower the thread delay value.
Authorization error? Raise that value.

None of the above?
Post the error code.

I need help.. I downloaded tiara and when i load up the loader for mabi. It says failed to run mabi. I did the site as well. Said something about wrong download. so i re-downloaded it and it does the same thing. So can anyone help me? Thanks.

i've never seen a message saying "wrong download" and if your able to provide more information on the error you are having; it would help us help you.
at what point are your receiving the error, does it give you an error number?, and i assume you downloaded the right tiara for your operating system and tried adjusted your thread delay in zep.ini?

I've downloaded the right Tiara Im using Vista so i downloaded xp and vista one. i am re downloading mabi right now. if it happens again i will take a screen shot of the problem.

Is there anyway I can change the new interface from the updated UO back to the default interface. The black bothers me a little and the skill bubble without the balloon makes it hard for me to sight aggros and cancel the skill I am using.

I downloaded this mod but whenever I go to play Mabinogi, Hackshield shows up, the bar fills, it disappears as it usually does, but Mabinogi doesn't open. I go to play again and it says it's already running and I even see the client.exe in my processes but no window.

I tried reinstalling Tiara, I tried updating AutoBot, I used the English Data Packer, but it doesn't work. The only way I can get the game to work is to rename the dbghelp.dll to dbghelp.mod and the .zep to .dll but then that disables the mods. Is there anything here I am doing wrong?

If you only want tiara's data folder.

Just delete the new dll's, or rename them, either works.
Then use the data packer.

You mean the dbghelp dll's?
I moved them to a different folder in case something went wrong. Mabinogi works now and the mods seem to work but now name labels for items and stuff are almost all "xml.itemdb.#####".

Is there a problem with the xml files that I need to fix?

Update, delete, or edit yourself.

The file is itembd.xml, db folder.

If you data packed, remember to remove mods THEN do it, and redo mods after.

How would you update it? Because I deleted it, then reinstalled the mods, but it must have patched back in and it's still there

Updating, would be via new version of tiara.
Which may or may not be released on time.

To manually edit it yourself, you'll need to open it in notepad, and edit it.
In my guide, I wrote a section for editing the prop xml, it's not THAT much different...
It's the basics for almost every xml ever.

Take a look at that in my guide, then look at this xml... If you're still lost, simply delete it or wait for a new tiara.

If I have some more free time I may write a guide for itemdb, but until then... Either you get it or you don't lol

If you can't do it, deleting it won't cause any problems.
It will get rid of that text you're seeing though.

One is tiara and his patcher.

One is his autobot which he's turned into a frontend like deal, which includes absolutely everything. Bot, tiara, the interface, etc.
