That should get rid of the messed up text, yes.
If there were any text mods that came with that file, it might remove those mods too though.

I would like the default font of the game back please. How would I do it? I deleted the font folder but it resulted in not being able to type at all in the log in screen.
Also, I'd like every sound back besides the Dragons. I deleted every item in the sound folder except for the dragons, but the other sounds are still silent in the game.

Did you make sure to data-pack it again? Otherwise the changes won't be applied to your Mabinogi.

the standard.txt should be updated, as for the font; deleting the file/folder will fix it after data packing again.

So i recently completely re-downloaded Mabi, and it works and runs fine until i download Tiara and use data packer. When i click Start Game at that time it automatically says "Mabinogi Failed to Run". I dont have itemdb.xml or race.xml. Any ideas?

*.xml files shouldn't be a problem unless they're outdated. So either you have something else besides Tiara or Shaggy made an error, which somebody probably would've noticed by now.

Here's what you need to do. Use Data Packer to remove then add an underscore at the end of the name of every main folder in /data, except one. Then data pack again. If you can get in Mabi without a problem, the problem isn't in that folder. If you can't get in, the problem is in that folder. If you can get in, unrename another folder and repeat until you narrow it down.

I've had Tiara before on this computer, and i reinstalled mabi completely and dowloaded the new version of Tiara , and it's as soon as i hit game start it just says Fails to run Mabi.

if you still haven't narrowed down the problem using Persona's recommendation then private message me so i can help you in team viewer.

Edit:
you can also try running mabinogi.exe with administrator or using PowerPatcher as your launcher.

New issue: After I update AutoBot, it automatically closes soon after, preventing me from changing any mod settings.

By the way, think you can whip up an AutoBot.exe so we don't have to download the same stuff everytime we want to mess with AutoBot, Shaggy?

before i had to include every file in the autobot.rar update for uo tiara so people could update tiara and have all the files of AutoBot but now that uo tiara is using power patcher and update tiara.exe
i suppose i can afford to make autobot.rar smaller, not over writing as many files (maybe change settings to be saved in the registry some day) and remove the auto close of the updater. (changes made to 3.5.7.103)
it raises the risk of those with earlier setup files missing some files no longer in the latest version, but that just means i'll have to update my setup file more often.

It just closes automatically and prevents me from even using it.

Also I downloaded UOTiara's updater. Still would love the ability to use AutoBot...

you need a working hs bypass and a patcher that works with the new themida client or have unpacked it made edits and repack among many other possible ways of getting cp viewer; none of these methods are allowed on mabimods.

It still works, for a lot of things.

Though I wish there were more boxes in the Fragmentation window... even with the mod... it's annoying to burn through 7 stacks of ingots >w>

I'm getting an error every time i try to run mabi with tiara installed. Before i had mabinogi and tiara installed and it worked just fine, but i had to re-install client and now it wont let me play. I installed the newest version of tiara, used data packer, and then tried running it, then it stops right before it's done loading the main login screen and shuts down with this error.

I've done every method i can think of to get this to run including uninstalling tiara-re-installing; using backup client to clean files and try again, then re-installing; installing autobot instead along with tiara (didn't figure that'd work); restarting and doing whole process over. Other things as well, but i honestly am stuck so that is why i'm here asking for help ;-; JUST for clarification i can play mabinogi if i remove mods with data packer.

same thing mabinogi.exe does but more, which is download the mabinogi files and update them from their ftp.

The error i was having was unrelated to uo tiara but was a personal edit i made to db/skill/skillinfo.xml so i would have to team view you or you would have to try narrowing down the problem by rename or moving the folders in /data/ until you found the file causing the problem.

so basically it's due to another modification I've made?

Also, the reason i had to uninstall was because when i tried to delete the visual modifications i had made, it deleted the actual file. So when i deleted the file in data>db>gfx>char>human>male>mantle to delete my lava cat to nuadha mod, it actually seemed to delete the lavacat robe itself, making anyone wearing it in game invisible where the lava cats covered, same with several other things. Is there anything i was doing wrong that could prevent this from happening again?

[EDIT]:I did another fresh install and installed only tiara and it's working fine now. The only other visual modifications i had made before was removing all the water in mabinogi and changing the looks of the down gauge but i installed those before without any problems so idk why it went wrong

[note: i did the same thing on my windows xp computer and it did what it was supposed to as usual, this one is windows 7, no idea why its doing it]
