delete your 'c:\nexon\mabinogi\data' folder, remove mods with data packer.exe, install uo tiara r101 and find/modify with data packer again.

tiara itself shouldn't cause that problem either unless they have an outdated file or happen to have downloaded my pre-release of r102

Hello. I just wanted to mention (aside from the overused kudos for the work on UO Tiara) that I'm getting a little problem when using the mod. Even if I deselect the animal sound removals (including Dragons), my 2-Seater Thunder Dragon still gets his sounds removed, and whenever attacking with him, the monster's stunned-knocked back-knocked down animations won't play (the monster will stay there until it actually "gets up" from somewhere else).

I've already tried uninstalling UO Tiara completely then reinstalling the latest version, disabling and enabling sound removals, but nothing too advanced.

It's not that big of an issue, but as someone who likes to ride his dragon to fight, any help is greatly appreciated.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that all the other dragons (Fire, Ice and 1-seater Thunder) work fine, apparently.

Did you try removing the mods with Data Packer, uninstalling Tiara, deleting the data folder, then reinstalling Tiara and repacking the mods with the packer?

Deleting the data folder is important.

you might also want to try removing animationevent.anievent as it contains some quake and sound removals for pets, but i don't believe i removed any knock back/stun animations so not sure whats causing that.

To Xcelled: Yes, I did completely delete the data folder every time, as I assumed the UO Tiara uninstalled wouldn't remove it correctly.

To ShaggyZE: I'll look for that file and try it, thanks for the suggestion.

EDIT: ShaggyZE's suggested fix worked. My 2seater Thunder dragon's soudns and stuff are all fixed now.

k i'll look into why its affecting 2seater knock/stun animations before R102 is released since i only intended it to disable sound and quake summon

I just figured I'd let ya know.
i'll recheck my newly added standard.english.txt; all i added was a change from "looks very weak" to the actual CP value of equips so its possible mabi changed R101 instead of doing R102 and now some files of R101 are no longer up to date so thanks for pointing it out and will fix for R101a

btw only 27 people downloaded my pre-release for R102 and from the replies in that topic i can only assume R101 standard.english.txt had been changed during the last maintenance; since the OP clearly tried reinstalling but...again the problem should have been posted in UO Tiara's thread to get a faster response and fix by me.

I am going to sleep right now so i will check in 8 hours to see if it was my mistake in not checking if R101 had been altered or if its another source/pack that caused the problem.

Edit:
was 3 or 4 lines in standard.english.txt that needed updated and not sure if it was that causing the issue or if they were using one from another source but the standard.english.txt for R101a or R102(whichever comes first) i have tested working as intended.

Just a minor question... How much difference does the fireball range mod make? It's clearly not unlimited, so I was tempted to think that it didn't work, but it was packaged with the heal range mod, which does seem to work up to a certain distance.

because the mod file that did long range skills does more then just the mods recently made server sided.

if you would read the features you would see.

however i believe long distance dice toss is also server sided now but have not tested it, but eventually i will change the name to something like "Unfading Lightningbolt, Hidden Skills, and Ctrl Targeting Enemies and Props with Sketching and Stone Throwing" to avoid confusion to those that have not read the current working features or topic replies.

Ah, I see. Thanks for explaining it. Though, I think the Heal range IS slightly increased. I can't be positive since it's been so long since I've played without it, but I was able to test Healing on Kousai from a decent range--about a three-second walk away. I seem to remember the original range for that being nearly next to the target.

Sorry for not reading that part of the topic post, and thanks for keeping this pack going. It's the only one I trust! :3

they mostly just added an event between my two r102 versions so yea i couldn't use my/their old r102 or the event would have crashed ppl or have untranslated text.

also added an addin for PowerPatcher in this release

Yo shaggy could i request a mod from you? Me an my friends have been Bandit hunting alot lately for items an gold ect.. well we get to the point where bandits no longer spawn in an area.. so my request is a 2-parter...
1)a counter or something that ticks down or shows how many bandits are/can be fought in an area
2)A Bandit spawn Ring... this most important lol a ring around bandits in hidein that shows how close u need to be to spawn the attack... be helpful in seein hidden bandits for those wanting to avoid them as well...

if there not possable i understand... but if they are.. would u look into them for me or something ^^
