Some reason i use to never lag on mabi that much but when i install this mod it reduce the lag greatly but when i fight or use a skill i will lag for like 5 sec and after 10~20sec it will lag again for another 5sec how do i get rid of this i keep getting killed cause of it its happening to both me and my friend.

More than likely, the skill-loading lag is caused by the Nagle algorithm. Read THIS GUIDE on how to disable it (as well as other nifty, lag-reducing tips).

^^ i would agree with that; their are more things tiara could do to reduce lag ontop of the things already done that "just happen to reduce lag" but de-nagle is one of those things that help with mabi but maybe not some much as every other thing/game? that it may make the difference for you mabi wise.

I already tried the nagle thing i tried most of those reduce lag steps besides port forwarding since i have no idea what they mean but i wouldnt want to mess with that if i have no clue how to do it.

port forwarding is like DMZ meaning incoming request to your local ip# will be forwarding to your main ip# and will be accepted or denied depending on your firewall or services provided.
chances are your have DSL? which means your pc is just slow and mabi itself is slow so...your gonna be slow...accept it?

My mabi is slow but my pc/internet is fine

I really wish there were some nice MMORPG's hosted in Australia though :/

Not sure if this has been addressed but as far as I can tell it hasn't, and probably doesn't matter now with the new patch though and new puzzlemaster quiz. It seems there was an oversight in the dungeonruins.xml file for the event dungeon for this past week. The part of that xml including the event dungeon was not there so when my guild leader tried running it, it crashed. Mentioned this on the other tiara thread before, just thought you might want to know.

thank you for bringing that up, i overlooked it and will update it as soon as i have the time either by a new tiara setup or autobot upgrade.

none except in different versions of MNG and the .ini the wording was changed so i included both to accommodate.

I dont see anything regarding this, except that ShaggyZE is trying to blend Autobot's Frontend with Tiara...

I believe Frontend/Tiara were incompatible with each other before, and I currently have Jinx/Frontend dl'ed. Will I be able to dl tiara without getting rid of Frontend, and NOT crash/get an error/something bad happening?

I do hope so, no offense to the Proffesor but I like Tiara more; it's simpler.

I didn't read carefully enough -sees the Autobot that has both of them-. Gonna try that.

Tiara can be used with ANYTHING!
Just how to work it changes depending on what else you have.

If you have a patcher, tada, it works.
If you have frontend, you need a patcher or packer.
If you just want data folder stuff, you need a packer.
My guide covers both if you don't know them.

Now then, frontend with tiara.
Some things tiara has, will be on frontend, as such, it will work absolutely fine, however, it will become confusing since you need to know what is already on tiara, and what frontend has that isn't there.

as stated by the professor many times, the way his frontend works it downloads an overwrites the files with its own frontend edits making that file the frontends an no longer tiara specific or any other personal edits.

At time you were playing, there might have been some lag with the server in general. If you have already disabled the Nagles Algorithm, no computer and/or internet should be as bad as to cause 5 second lag. I myself had dsl before and my ping was still no larger than 200 at the worst.

Think of it like this.

The average player would have around 200-300 ping.
You would disconnect after going a little over 1000.

To achieve a 5 second lag you'd need to have over 5000.

There are other factors to lag besides internet.
If upon using tiara you receive such lag, yet don't without it, it is not your connection that's the issue.
Yes, it IS a possibility still, however it's more likely something else.

Hey Shaggy,
I downloaded the mod and followed your instructions, but whenever I start Mabi there's a message saying "Mabinogi: An error occured during execution. Sorry for the inconvenience. The problem description... etc etc". What can I do to fix this?

It occurs after that the start up screen appears, before I can even click "Start Mabinogi"
