So, a LONG time ago I found a large collection of fan made ego skins, I'd love to find more but all I can share is what I have. You can also give your ego a sex change through this method I guess.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Get Unofficial Tiara moon shine mods or Nogi Party Mods ... I just say this because that's how I've always started modding.
2. Look through the pictures. (You can do this by extracting all the pictures to a folder temperately)
3. find the .rar with the same name as that picture.
4. open that .rar and extract it into your mabinogi client, merging it with your already existing "data" folder thanks to Tiara.
5. go to "C:\nexon\mabinogi\data\gfx\image\npc"
6. Rename each of these files, changing the word "sword" into the weapon of your ego, and the word "female" or "male" into the gender of your ego.
7. go to "C:\nexon\mabinog\data\db\npc"
8. Right click the file .xml file in there and click edit or go to open with -> note pad
9. In the top line correct the line that is similar to "<portraitAnimation image="NPCportrait_EGO_female_sword.dds">" - as in correct the gender and weapon type.... Again o3o
10. save that file and close it, then rename that very same file to the correct gender and weapon type.

This is just a replacement to the character portrait basically... o: I said animated to mean they blink and change their emotional reaction to match the text like the real ego portraits.

Well, what I mean is that when you use it (I've been using the one of Tomoyo for a while now) the glow behind the portrait is offset incorrectly.
I was asking if it had been fixed.

When you look through the Imgur, there are some with large :censored:, nothing is nude, all fair play.

It's what i'd call public quality. Nothing you wouldn't expect to see in games or shows meant for the general public, more or less. Not complaining, but it's not what i'd personally refer to as perverted.

Also, wow, apparently we REALLY don't like any variation of that word. I can't find a way around that censor.

Uh i would assume it's outdated. I remember there being talk at one point of issues with some ego swapping mods. I can't say why, as i don't pay much attention to egos tbh.
Since the thread's necroed at this point, it probably don't apply to this thread any more, but when you wish to inquire about an old thread, as in over a month with no posts, then it's requested that you make a new thread and link to the old thread as reference. Ask the questions you need in the new thread you created, rather than necro an old thread.
I applaud your ability to search and make an attempt at the mod though, without randomly throwing up a thread and requesting all ego skin mods or something. Initiative is a good thing.
